- Select key economic indicators like population, labour force or employment to easily view statistics layered on municipalities.
- View property pages for contact information, property overview and key insights into the community.

Note: While the Alberta Site Selector Tool showcases a wide range of available properties, it does not include all properties currently for sale or lease in Alberta. Additional listings may be available through other sources.
Data on the Alberta Site Selector Tool comes from a mix of public and private data sources.
- Socio-economic data: Discover 80+ indicators from the Alberta Regional Dashboard, including labour, demographic, industry data and more. Data is sourced from Statistics Canada, Government of Alberta departments and agencies, federal agencies and the private sector. Data is updated annually or every five years for census indicators.
- Infrastructure data: View infrastructure data layers on the interactive map, including highways and high load corridors, rail lines and terminals, international and local airports, transmission lines, irrigation networks, hospitals, fibre internet availability, powerlines and more. Data is sourced by various provincial agencies and departments, such as Alberta Electric System Operator and Municipal Affairs and the private sector.
- Property listings: A feed of available properties provided by Spacelist, a third-party site that aggregates listings from commercial brokers, and Pillar9. Data is refreshed daily to ensure the most current information is available.Note that not all properties currently for sale or lease in Alberta are included.
- Municipal contacts: Contact details are provided by municipalities. To add or change the contact for your municipality, please email [email protected].
The Alberta Site Selector Tool automatically consolidates information on property listings from Spacelist, a third-party site that allows users to post commercial real estate listings for free.
Municipalities and brokerages can upload available land and properties by creating a free account on Spacelist.ca. Property information on the tool is automatically updated every 24 hours to ensure accuracy and relevance.
