Bon Accord is a town in central Alberta, located 40 km north of downtown Edmonton on Highway 28. The town's name is derived from the French phrase "Bon Accord," the ancient motto of Aberdeen, Scotland. Aberdeen was the ancestral home of an early settler, Sandy Florence.
